The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development signed a loan agreement with the government of the Republic of Tajikistan to finance the Ragun Hydropower Plant project, valued at 376 million dirhams. This project is one of the key strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing energy and water security. The agreement was signed by Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Fund, and Fayziddin Khairozoda, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides. Al Suwaidi stated: "We take pride in signing this agreement with our partners in the government of the Republic of Tajikistan, thereby reaffirming the Fund's vital role in supporting global prosperity and promoting sustainable development." Khairozoda added: "We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for its leading role."
