Abu Dhabi Ports Group has announced the signing of a shareholders' agreement with 'Avesto', one of Tajikistan's largest private industrial conglomerates, to establish a joint venture to provide integrated logistics solutions and cargo shipping services nationwide. 'Avesto' is one of the leading private sector players in the country, managing over 30 companies and factories across various sectors and boasting partnerships with 8 institutions. Under the agreement, the joint venture will initially operate as a provider of light cargo shipping services, securing exclusive rights to consolidate and manage all cargo shipping and logistics activities for the 'Avesto' group's companies, and offering services to third-party players within the market.
